More Than a Provider. A Helping Hand.

Dukes Helping Hands was built around a simple belief:

Everyone deserves someone willing to lend a helping hand.

The name Dukes carries meaning for our organization and reminds us why we serve. What began with a desire to help others has grown into an organization committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities experience greater independence, inclusion, opportunity, and belonging.

We understand that choosing a provider is about much more than finding an agency on a list. Families are trusting someone with a person they love. Individuals are trusting us to listen to their voices, respect their choices, and support their goals. Support Coordinators are trusting us to communicate, follow the individual's plan, and provide meaningful services. We take that responsibility seriously.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide compassionate, person-centered services that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop independence, participate meaningfully in their communities, pursue employment, strengthen relationships, and achieve personally meaningful goals.

Our Vision

We envision communities where individuals with disabilities are not simply present but included, respected, employed, empowered, and valued.

Serving From the Heart

At Dukes Helping Hands, progress doesn't look the same for everyone. For one person, success may mean obtaining their first job. For another, it may mean ordering their own meal, learning to budget, communicating a need, safely navigating the community, making a new friend, volunteering, or trying an activity they once thought they couldn't do.

Every accomplishment matters. And we'll be there to lend the helping hand.
